Amgen is pleased to provide a comprehensive Total Rewards program carefully designed to help secure the long-term financial, physical, and overall well-being of our staff and their families.
Certain benefits are provided automatically, including basic life insurance and disability coverage, while other benefits require enrollment.
Enroll in benefits within 31 days of your Amgen hire date if you want coverage. Your coverage will be effective retroactive to your hire date regardless of when you actually enroll within the 31-day period.
If you don’t enroll within 31 days of your hire date, you will have to wait until the next Annual Enrollment period to enroll for coverage.

Voluntary life and accident insurance | Purchase additional coverage for yourself, your spouse/domestic partner or your dependent child(ren). |
Group legal | Enroll in the MetLife Legal Plan. |
For the 401(k) Plan, if you do not take action within 30 days, you will automatically be enrolled at a 5% salary deferral.
